Terms of use

Firasa is an application for learning to recognise emotions and micro-expressions, and for visual-behavioural analysis of recordings. It shows facial muscle movements and hand and leg gestures, names them with the standard codes, and explains what those movements are usually associated with in research.

Firasa does not determine whether a person is telling the truth. It is not a lie detector, not a medical instrument and not a diagnostic tool. The results are auxiliary: they are not evidence and cannot be the sole basis for any decision about a person — in hiring, in legal proceedings, or anywhere else.

The Firasa service at www.foza.app is provided by Foziljon Fatulloev, Republic of Tajikistan.

Dodo Payments acts as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, issues the invoice and is responsible for taxes. Your card statement will show their name.

Videos and photos are not uploaded to our servers. The analysis runs entirely in the browser on your own device, and the results stay there. We receive neither the recordings nor the conclusions drawn from them.

There is one exception — analysis from a link. To let the browser open a video hosted elsewhere, our server fetches it and passes it to your browser. The file is not stored and is deleted once the work is done.

Prices are in US dollars and are listed on the pricing page. The subscription renews automatically — monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you chose.

You can cancel at any time, with no reason required. After cancelling, no further charge is made, and the period you have already paid for runs to its end.

By using the service you agree not to do any of the following:

• present the results as establishing deception, guilt or a person’s mental state;

• use them as the sole basis for decisions affecting a person’s rights — in hiring, dismissal, detention or court;

• analyse recordings of people who have not consented, where the law requires consent;

• share subscription access with outsiders, beyond the seats you have paid for;

• attempt to bypass subscription limits or reach other people’s data.

The “Security and Investigation” plan is intended for government bodies, is arranged under a separate contract and is not sold by card. Additional mandatory disclaimers apply to it and are printed in every report.

The service is provided as is. We are responsible for it working and for a paid subscription being active. We are not responsible for decisions taken on the basis of its results: conclusions about a person are drawn by a person, not by software.

If the service was down through our fault, you are entitled to a refund for that time — see the Refunds page.

We may change these terms. We will give at least 14 days’ notice by email of any material change — prices, what a plan includes, or the refund procedure. If you do not accept the new terms, the subscription is cancelled and the unused period refunded.
